What Is a Social Art Studio?
What Is a
Social Art Studio?
Art, people, creativity - and a really good time making something.
It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like.
A social art studio is a place where people come together to make art. Not necessarily serious-art-people. Not necessarily people who know which brush does what. Just people who want to make something, try something new, spend time together, and have some fun along the way.
It's about more than the art.
Traditional art studios often focus on the artist and the finished work. A social art studio adds another important ingredient: the people.
Come together
Bring your friends, family, date, coworkers, kids - or just yourself. There is always room for another creative human.
Make something
Pick a project, choose your colors, experiment a little, and turn something blank into something that is completely yours.
Have some fun
Laugh. Talk. Try something weird. Make a happy little mistake. Discover that you are considerably more creative than you thought.
Why Art Füzd Social Art Studio®?
We've been using "Social Art Studio" as part of our identity since 2016 because it describes what we actually do. Art Füzd was built around the idea that art should be accessible, enjoyable, hands-on, and social.
It's not quite an art class. Not quite a party.
A social art studio can overlap with familiar experiences without being exactly the same as any of them.
Not quite an art class
You can learn, experiment, ask questions, and pick up new skills - but nobody expects you to become a professional artist.
Not quite a party
Although... parties are absolutely welcome. Sometimes making art is the best reason to get everybody together.
It's its own thing
A social art studio is a place where the activity is making art and the experience is spending time together.
How social studios for art works

"I made it."
There's something pretty great about giving or decorating with something you created yourself.
Come make something.
You don't have to call yourself an artist. You don't have to know what you're doing. You don't even have to have a plan.
Pick something. Pick a color. Pick a brush. Invite somebody you like. And see what happens.
